The man is Arno Haslinger, whom we've mentioned before as a friend of Hodinkee and author of our favorite Heuer book.The auction will consist of 81 flawless vintage Heuer, many of which are in NOS condition. While it is unusual for a manufacturer to support a secondary market auction like this, TAG Heuer has said that because these watches represent "the best of the best", they are happy to showcase this event as Tissot Sport TI002 watches part of their anniversary celebration.The sale will take place on Wednesday, December 15th, 2010 at Bonhams UK in London. These watches are made of titanium, and incredibly light, despite their fairly expansive size on the wrist.
